In the present scenario of digital world, photo editing has reached on to the heights where it cannot be imagined. Even though the original photo has its own beauty but these editing modes offer much visual delights. A photo taken in a dull background may also make the person appear dull. In this case just by minor editing works such as removing the main image from the dull background and adding a new brighter background will enhance the picture. Even sometimes just brightening up only the background will also yield same enhancements. A clipping path is a vector path, which is used to select a particular area from the image. Any part of the image can be isolated from the total picture making the rest of the area transparent. It just helps in stenciling out the required area and concealing the unwanted area. The simple pen tool available in the Photoshop menu can do all this. First select the pen tool. Other alternate tools such as magic wand tool, lasso tool, magnetic lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool or the normal lasso tool can also do it. The idea of any tool remains the same that is to select the needed area. The most needed thing here is the concentration and the tools. Sometimes magic wand does not work as effective as it is said. So it is better to look out for the other tools. Magic wand can be used when the selection area has the same color. The next main tool that will be helping would be the work path, which should be created from the path palette available in the Photoshop. 

Now the picture should be opened and the area needed should be selected by using either of the above-mentioned tools. Any tools being selected the left click option in the mouse would help in selecting the picture. Even though the keyboard options are available using the mouse for selection would be a smarter choice. Care should be taken in curved sections and hollow areas. If the selection is made right then it is not needed to do much work on removing the unwanted areas. 

Now the work path should be created and named. Then the clipping path option should be selected and the named path should be selected as the clipping path. This can be saved. Before saving the picture minor touch ups can be made if needed in selection by expanding the picture to 200% to define each pixel. The picture would be saved in EPS format. Now a new picture with the needed background can be loaded into the Photoshop and this EPS format picture can be added to this new picture easily. Now the picture is perfectly fit into the new background.
